We Ate the Last of the Cake Last Night
Very little sleep was had last night. Sasha was awake from 3am till about 5:30am. I hope I can get through the day because I am going to my first knitting meetup tonight. I am excited! I haven't knitted since the weekend when I was working on my first toe-up sock from the pattern from the Twisted Sisters Sock Workbook. It took some practice but I proudly learned how to do a provisional cast on. Once I got the cast on I enjoyed the increases and I knit 71/2 inches from the toe. Then I did an hourglass heel. And I hate it. I finished stitching up the Raglan on Sunday. I took it in slow steps... and it was enjoyable. I did the raglan seams on Friday - front and back. One side seam and sleave seam on Saturday and the other side on Sunday. The sweater fits a bit big which is what I was going for - she will be able to get some wear out of it!
