Socks Hault All Other Projects

We changed servers and went without for a few days... but I am am back now... so let's get back to knitting.

My MIL sent down some sock wool for me to make up my husband some socks but I got it in my head to use the wool to make her some socks up and surprise her for Christmas. Having to make the socks up has brought all other projects to a hault.

We Did The Big Move This Weekend

We moved Sasha's crib from our room into a room of her own. We wanted to wait until after our holidays and to do it on a long weekend so that it wouldn't be too hard on her or us. Sasha has been marvellous and the transition has been much smoother than we anticipated.

I will tell you what luxury is. Luxury is:

Coming into a cozy lit room and crawling into bed to read.

Chatting with your partner about life while in a cozy bed.

Not having to sneak into bed so as not to disturb baby.

I didn't realize how much I missed our bedroom time... no not that way. I just mean it is sooooo great to live a little in bed. Oh forget it... it all sounds dirty and I just mean it in a good-for-the-soul kind of way.

Now it's harder to get on the computer because it is in Sasha's room. I used to go on while she was napping and now I have to sneak on in small spurts while she is playing. I haven't been able to visit all of the knitting blogs yet. I kind of miss it. We will be switching the computer into a different room... eventually. I didn't realize how much I miss it, especially not going on the Internet at all yesterday.
